How We Help & What You’ll Learn
Is my business idea a good one?
One of the most important steps in your entrepreneurial journey.
- Do I have something to sell, and how do I know anyone will pay for it?
- What will it cost to start my business?
- Do I have what it takes to be an entrepreneur?
A consultation with one of our team members will help you answer these questions to see if you’re ready for the Business Planning Workshops. If you qualify for Business Planning through WorkBC you are eligible to receive a living allowance. Ask us how.
Business Planning Workshops – 7 to 10 weeks
Spend 7 weeks with us learning about running a business, and creating a plan to support your success. Attend two, three hour group sessions per week covering topics like:
- Business Basics
- Goal Setting for Success
- Branding & Marketing to YOUR unique Customer
- Customer Service Excellence
- Business Financials
- Business Operations
Guest speakers offer presentations on business banking & accounting, business insurance, legal matters pertaining to business, and the use of social media for marketing. At the end of 7 weeks you have an additional 2-3 weeks to finalize your plan. Ongoing coaching is available on request and living allowance is extended through the start-up phase for WorkBC participants.
We offer ongoing intakes.
