Introduction to “No-Code” Tools
Community Futures Thompson Country is pleased to present our 2021 Workshop series. This virtual series is free to attend and aims to provide information and education for entrepreneurs or budding entrepreneurs.
This June workshop will explore the no-code tools that are a game-changer for the non-tech entrepreneur. Join Daila Duford and Paige Whitson from Two Story Robot as they share what is possible in the world of digital asset creation without having to know a single line of code.
What does that mean? Here is an example, are you still using spreadsheets? Do you find yourself wishing you could leave the spreadsheets behind and build your own app to solve your business’s unique problems? We’re here to tell you, you absolutely can! No special “tech industry” knowledge or skills required.
Two Story Robot’s two non-technical team members Daila and Paige will share the fundamentals of what “no-code” is, what it does, what it can do for you and how you might apply it to your business. They’ll also share examples of digital assets and tools that have been created without using code to get you thinking about what is possible for your business.
This is an introductory informational webinar geared towards entrepreneurs and established business owners who are using spreadsheets, pen and paper, or any other system that feels inefficient and is not keeping up with their business needs.
Meet your workshop facilitators:
Born and raised in Kamloops, Paige is Two Story Robot’s Team Coordinator. Before joining the team, Paige spent various seasons over 10 years working at the Sun Peaks Resort and local summer camps. She loves working together with people to identify and work through problems, bringing her curiosity and enthusiasm with her wherever she goes. That very enthusiasm has lent itself well to the project management, community engagement, and various facilitator hats that she wears on any given day. Outside of coordinating the incredible Two Story Robot team and helping business owners confidently embrace the world of “no-code”, Paige is passionate about biking, snowboarding, camping and being outside as much as possible.
Daila joined the amazing Two Story Robot team as the business administrator in March 2020. Before that she spent 20 years managing a not-for-profit cinema and loving every minute of it. She has an intense passion for spreadsheets and huge respect for software design, so building no-code solutions was a perfect fit for her. You can find her tapping away on her computer in beautiful Salmon Arm where she lives with her awesome husband and two daughters.
